Samsung Galaxy S5 Specs & Price 2014 at Mobile World Congress

I personally love Samsung, but they started to play with us just like Apple did with its iPhone. Samsung began releasing at least 2 or 3 models in one year. it means the phone you bought, toss it and buy a new one instead.

Anyway, the good news is Samsung has confirmed that the latest Samsung Galaxy S5 is destined to launch at Mobile World Congress in February. Samsung normally holds its own launch event for a new device in the S series, in a bid to rival the hype usually reserved for Apple's new handsets. I reckon it'll unveil the S5 at a separate event, and then show it off at Mobile World Congress. It looks like the S5 could hit the shop shelves in March, if this report is correct.

Samsung loves giant smartphones, and well so do we if the sales of the Galaxy Note 3 have anything to say about it. Now a leaked Samsung Display presentation suggests that the Galaxy S5 will have a 5-inch plus display with a resolution of 2560x1440. It will be based on Samsung's flexible Super AMOLED tech YOUM, which will make the display unbreakable. The leaked presentation shows on slide 11 (featured below) that Samsung intends to reach 560PPI in 2014 and the Galaxy S4 will be flagship carrying the first of such displays.

The sources did not mention anything about the specs of this upcoming handset, but Samsung's new 64-bit Exynos 5430 chip could be the Korean company's answer to the processor used by Apple's iPhone 5, not to mention the popular Snapdragon 800 chip used by more and more Android high-end devices as time goes by. More than a new processor, the Samsung Galaxy S5 will feature a completely different design with a premium carbon fiber body or even one using metal, as well as a 16 MP ISOCELL camera with optical image stabilization and enhanced low light capabilities. All the above should be taken with a grain of salt, since nothing is official yet and this may prove to be only an update to the Galaxy S4 and not a whole new generation.
